SUBJECT: HOW TO USE THE DAREN NODE/Chat room
With the Communications Exercise coming up on December 8th,
it would be handy to know how to operate through the DAREN Net Chat
room. The DAREN Net NODE/Chat room is located at the same location
as the Ritchie County NODE/PBBS of RITCWV/HRVLWV. However you normally
get to the Ritchie County NODE/PBBS, you can use the same path, but, you
"DO NOT" have to connect to the Ritchie County NODE of "RITCWV", they
are separate systems, but they use the same transceiver. The ALIAS
for the NODE/Chat room is "DAREN". When you connect to the
NODE/Chat room, you can do several commands, but for the most part these
are the only ones that you should know. The "U" command. The
"U" is for USERS. It allows you to see who else may be in the Chat room.
The "T" is for TALK. The "T" lets you enter the Chat room.
And, the "B" is for BYE, which lets you disconnect from the DAREN
NODE/Chat room. After you type a "T" and enter the Chat room, you
can converse with whoever s in there. One thing you need to
remember is to press 'Return'
